I have been out of action for the last few months. So much has happened. I had to resign as a demo for SU as my work increased and now things have calmed down I’ve decided to go with a new look blog layout with the new crafty creations I’ve been working on.
I’ve found a new passion in the way of photo folios and projects, and here is what I’ve been working on.
I am an admirer or Kathy King the crafting Queen from Paper Phenomenon and I adore her Keepsake Trunk. A friend of mine is having a baby and I made her one. I only gave it to her the other day so now that she has seen it I can post some pics.
I hope you enjoy it.
I love the NEW Timeless Elegance DSP from the new catalogue and thought it would be perfect for any type of gift box. I saw this box on Pinterest and here is my version.
I used the Timeless Elegance DSP, Basic Black Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock, Very Vanilla Crochet Trim, Spiral Flower Die
I have had a couple of lovely ladies ask if there was a tutorial for my Gift Card Holder. Please find below. It is a PDF file that you can save it.
Please enjoy my tutorial – please be so kind as not to share this tutorial, but to let people know they can pop over to my blog and download it for themselves – it would be awesome if I knew how many people liked this tutorial by downloading it and I will only know that if people visit my blog, so spread the word to your friends and get them to pop over and take a look at my page and download their own copy of the tutorial.
Gift Card Holder Tutorial – Vicki Collins, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator
I have a stall/table at the local golf club this Friday for Mother’s Day High Tea and I’m almost set for the things to sell on my table. I’ve spent the last couple of days just putting together some quick things, here are the Gift Card Holders I’ve been putting together.
I’ve been using up all my DSP and making a range of colours, Garden Green, Island Indigo and Crushed Curry. they hold a regular size gift card and are really easy and quick to make.
I didn’t know what to call my latest project. It is a Box. It is an Envelope. It has Triangles. So I decided on Triangle Box Envelope, I figured it covered everything.
I’m not sure if these already exist on Pinterest or You Tube or Online, I haven’t had a look but this is my version.
This is the version I have created a video tutorial for. I have added the video on You Tube for you to check out. I had to shorten it to fit on You Tube so you might find you have to pause to read some of the instructions. I hope you enjoy it.

Would love it if you left a comment or feedback here or on my Facebook page, all my details are at the beginning of the video. Enjoy!
